View OS and embedded application updates

Unisphere supports the display of PowerMax OS and embedded application updates.

Prerequisites

  • A Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) has already been registered in Unisphere.
  • Embedded applications are installed on the storage system.

About this task

See Understanding serviceability for an overview of the Unisphere for PowerMax Serviceability functionality. Unisphere for PowerMax autodownloadable automatically downloads auto packages for embedded applications.

Steps

  1. Select the storage system.
  2. Select Serviceability > Updates.
The Updates window displays. If Secure Connect Gateway (SCG) is not configured select Configure SCG and see Secure Connect Gateway registration.
  3. The Updates window has a panel that displays the following:
    • Package Last Task Status
    • Current PowerMax OS Version
